The Magic of Touch

Imagine, a simple touch from another can lower your blood pressure and merely holding the hand of a person in a coma can improve their heart rate.

Touch can stimulate the production of our natural pain killer (endorphins), which may explain why when you presented Mom with an injury, her touch, hug or kiss made you automatically feel better.

TOUCH, TALK & LISTEN: It is important for us, as social creatures, to interact daily with kindness, love and caring.

We need each other!
Author, Tiffany Field, PhD.
This book talks presents why we need a daily dose of touch and an investigation of the effects of touch on our physical and mental well-being.

"Massage is the study of anatomy in braille." Jack Meagher

"I’ve learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly
pat on the back." Maya Angelou
