    Hi,

i just wanted to share my story. from what i have read, it is a little
different from most of the others.

i am 30 years old and have never been
pregnant before. when i was 25, i had
a laparoscopy that showed that my fimbria
    were agglutinated ( stuck down
with scar tissue), and the doctor said
    i probably would never concieve
without ivf. when i actually started
trying 4 years ago, i had multiple
    serial transvaginal ultrasounds to check
    for ovulation, which they never
saw. so i went on clomid for 4 cycles,
which gave me large (12cm) ovarian
cysts. the doctor told me i might as
well not bother. i can't afford ivf,
and my insurance doesn't cover it.
so i continued trying (checking my
    temperature, counting my cycles) until
it had been three years. i finally
gave up, and resigned myself to never having children.

a year later i became pregnant, out of the blue.
    i couldn't believe it. i
wasn't doing anything special, just living.
now i am 29 weeks pregnant and
expecting a boy. i can hardly believe the odds i overcame.

i hope that this can give someone some hope.
i had given up, but here i am.

I broke down and tested this morning....
    IT WAS +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I am still in shock. Faint line but very
definitely there! God is so faithful!

I want to share my story just because
it is a testimony to God's
faithfulness and to the miracle of this board
    and all you ladies!

This was my first month off birth control (now before you shoot
    me...hear me out!) I have a hormone
    condition (adrenal hyperplasia) that
requires me to be on bcp. I have
been on the pill for 7 years. My RE
has always said that I will have
problems conceiving. When dh and I
decided to try we knew that if I was
going to get pregnant on my own it had
to be within 2 months because any
    longer off bcp or hormone
therapy would result in some serious problems.

So we prayed...and I found you guys.
There wasn't a day that went by
that we didn't pray. We prayed for
regularity in my cycle and for a good
egg and for a good conception.
Every step of my cycle I prayed. AND
BELIEVED. You have to have faith along with your prayers.

I truly believe that part of my prayers
were answered when I found you
    ladies...I knew nothing about TTC
and you guys taught me everything about BBTs,
    CM, CP, symptoms, HPTs,
OPKs, best time to BD and
what to do afterwards. You were a godsend...
and I truly owe my thanks to you.

I hope I haven't hurt or offended anyone.
I am not trying to rub this in
to anyone's face. I know that many of
you have been trying for so long
now and I can't even imagine the
    frustration. God knows our bodies
and what we need and He provides.

    Anyway...I will keep you posted
    on the betas and such.
I will still be hanging around...
at least until it becomes real and then
onto the Alumnae! Besides, we are
telling our families or anyone for
another 3 weeks so I need someone to
    share the news with!!
    Love and prayers...

Yes, I know how to use the discussion boards...
I was kinda what you call a silent participant. I
    basically gathered alot
of helpful information from the site and tried to
    use it in my experiences.
I wanted to wait to post my information until I knew
    something definite.

    EARLY SYMPTOMS:
As early as the 3rd day I felt like I had symptoms.
    I experienced
heartburn, which I have never had in the past. My
boobs were sore and I was
crampy. But both of those signs were like I was
going to start AF. By the
7th day or so I was starting to get a little
    nauseous. Then, AF didn't show
up. YIPPEE! The only advice I would offer is to
    RELAX (not to worry about
    it)!

    SUCCESS STORY:
It was truly a miracle! I was pretty certain around
    the time that I
ovulated, so we basically did the baby dance every
    day from 4 days before
until the 1 day after. I didn't track my temps or
    buy an ovulation
predictor kit. I was very fortunate to conceive the
    1st month. I am so
thankful! I must admit I was a bit fanatical
    though. I constantly thought
about it and wondered and wanted to find out right
    then & there. Every
feeling I felt, I assumed was a symptom of
    pregnancy. I would definitely
recommend for a person trying to conceive to not
    worry! It will happen when
the time is right and when it is meant to be. The
way I look at is if it
doesn't happen this month, maybe it's because of a
    very important reason for
it not to happen (kinda like a protection
mechanism). About the 14th day, I
took a HPT and it has a very faint line. I also
    felt nauseous that day, so
I made an appt with my general practice doctor. The
    next morning, I took
another HPT and it was the same as the day before.
    Then, I got the blood
test results from my g.p. doctor and it was
    positive! I couldn't believe
it. I think I'm around 5 weeks pregnant now. My
    symptoms include: sore
boobs, blue veins, bloating, and extreme fatigue. I
    have an appt with my
OB/GYN next week. It's very hard to believe because
    I really don't feel any
different. I even took another HPT yesterday just
to make sure that all the
other tests were right (I'm a freak, right?!). It
    seems like when you tell
people you are pregnant, they pull out every horror
    story possible. I now
have the fear of ectopic pregnancies & miscarriages!
I guess when I go to
my doctor, I will feel a bit relieved; or maybe I
    should practice my "not
worrying" thing. Anyway, I hope that this will help
    someone because other
people's experiences definitely helped me. I
    greatly appreciate it and good
    luck ~~~~~~~~~~~

I just thought i would add that I was on Clomid for
one cycle after my Dr determined that I had low
    progesterone(6).
& that I became pregnant in that one cycle.
I am 10 weeks pregnant with triplets!
