Dust and details!

Well, where do I start!
I never thought I'd get this chance
to write all of this. I'm so used to
reading everyone else's
it's wierd to be on this end.

For those of you who don't know me
I've been TTC since Feb. 98,
I became pg in July 99 but had a
miscarriage at 10 1/2 week.(Sept 22,1999)
So I am on my third cycle since m/c.
My first cycle was unusually long
at about 47 days.
But my next was 28 days with
AF coming on 13 DPO.
Cycles before m/c were so wacky!
Well, I've temped and charted
for the past year.
This month my temps went as follows....

CD 1-5 No temps
6 97.2
7 97.3 BD
8 97.4
9 97.2
10 97.0 C
11 97.0 C
12 97.0 EW
13 97.0 EW
14 97.3 EW BD
15 97.0 *O* BD
16 97.5 C
17 97.7 C
18 98.0 C
19 97.9 C BD
20 no temp "holiday break"
21 no temp "" ""
22 no temp "" ""
23 98.2
24 98.1
25 98.1
26 98.2
27 98.1
28 98.3
29 98.5 tested +, faint line
30 98.2
31 98.3 tested +, dark line!

I really haven't had any symptoms.
Just more CM then usual,
some car sickness and very mild cramps.
So far this feels very different
from my last pg, I hope that's a good sign.

Don't know what else to put now.
I had a progesterone test today
and am awaiting results.

Just a word to those TTC after m/c.
It will happen again and
please don't lose hope.
It's so scarey but will
be worth it in the end.

And to everyone else,
Don't lose hope,
it's the only thing that is truly yours.

Giving a little hope

I've watched this board for awhile &
found it very encouraging & helpful
but this is my 1st post.
I found out on 12/23 I was pg
after 4 yrs of TTC -
3 nonviable pg 1 tubal pg & 1 failed ivf.
My DH & I decided to adopt & now have
a beautiful 17 month old son.

We were going to try ivf in the spring again
but just like all of you I would pray every month
that this will be the month but to no avail.
I decided to try some of the natural
remedies to infertility vB6 vC baby asprin & prenatal vit.
Four yrs is a long time to wait &
I'm sure some of you have waited even longer
& my heart goes out to all of you
but do not give up hope because it can happen.

since its beginning
and its been a source of
great information!

I recently conceived after many many
fertility efforts, by seeing a chinese
acupuncturist/herbalist.

My experience

I went off the pill at 30
and will turn 37 in February.
We tried invitro, incemination, clomid,
the works. I thought I would mention this,
since it has helped me and a friend
I met online who lives in London
and it worked very quickly.
I saw this man for a total of 40 days
and am pregnant now!
Please let me know if you would be interested
in more details, since I want to help anyone
who was in my shoes.

Subject:A Success Story from Heidi
Well, here is how it finally happened for my husband and I!

My husband and I have been trying for
almost 2 years now with unexplained
infertility, and finally I found a doctor willing to help.
All the other military doctors just said
"Oh your fine, it will just take time".
Finally I was refered to a specialist
and I was nearly in tears when I
explained to her how long we have been
trying and how everyone is just not
willing to help us. Immediately she put
together an "infertility workup" for me.
This is basically what it was:

Cycle day 1: call with my period
Day 3: Blood tests (all were good)
DH's test: My husband had to give a semen sample
which was VERY good apparently!
Except I guess the volume was a little low.
Day 5: HSG test (dye test where
they put a tube up into your uterus and shoot
dye up in there several times and x-ray to see
if your tubes are clear) my tubes were clear
but this test was very painful for me!!!!
I have heard that several women get
pregnant after this test because it kinda "blows out
the cobwebs".
Also on Day 5: She gave me
50 mg. of clomid (fertility drug) to take on
my cycle days 5 - 9. This tricks my brain
into making more estrogen to produce
a healthy follicle. A follicle is what the
egg comes out of during ovulation.
Cycle day 13: She wanted me to
go in for an ultrasound so she could
see if I had produced any healthy follicles.
I had 3 healthy ones!!!! They were all
the perfect size and waiting for ovulation.
She gave me an HCG injection to
force ovulation. My husband and I had
to do the wild thing for the next 36 hours!
Cycle day 21: She wanted me to take a blood
test to check and see if my progesterone
levels were high. They were very high,
and I think this means I can keep an
embryo in me if I were to conceive.
Well, on cycle day 29
DH and I were just being silly and decided
to get a home pregancy test.
It was positive!!!!!!!! I was in disbelief
but my husband was pretty confident that
the test was correct!
Cycle day 30: Aunt Flo never came
Day 31: Took another home pg test
just to be sure, another positive!!!!
Day 32: I went in for a blood test,
and yep, I'm pregnant!!!!!

EARLY SYMPTOMS Well, Right after
my HCG injection I got a fever which
turned into a really bad cold.
So, during my first 3 weeks of pregnancy
I was coughing and blowing my nose constantly.
When I was on my feet for long periods of time
I would get hot flashes. I never felt
sick at any time. During the very beginning
(first week) I felt little pinching cramps
in my lower abdomen. And then I felt these
again during the time that Aunt Flo was supposed to come.
I have also had gas pains quite frequently.
I have been very tired, and eating a lot.
I am 4 weeks along right now. DH and I are very excited!
I guess my advice to everyone is not to give up.
I honestly could not imagine it finally
happening for us, and then *WHAM* the next thing I know
I'm pregnant!
I'm still trying to convince myself that
this is really happening!!!!!
