    hi ladies

i have a clomid success story and i dont mind sharing first off hubby and i been together for 4 years never used any protection but after two years of not getting pregnant i decided to see a re. i had many test done all came back negative. i had a lap , a dnc, lots of blood work still nothing major. i have been seeing my re every month for over 2 years. frustrating i know. my cycles were very normal between 26-28 days but never longer than 30 days. so one month my cyle lasted for maybe 44 days which was not normal for me. took 4 hpt all bfn. so my dr. prescribed provera to make af come on and then after provera i was due to start my first round of clomid at 50 mg to regulate things. well i took the provera but didnt start clomid on day 5 like i shouldve beacause i had an abnormal pap so doc. said i had to wait for results and i may have to wait for the next cycle to start my clom! id. i cried my heart out because i was ready already to start the clomid. but on cd7 i got a blessing doctor called and said that my biospy showed nothing and that he was calling in my prescription for clomid. at first i thought that it was way to late to take the clomid because i started on c7-cd11. i just knew this cycle would be a bust i had no idea if i even "oed" but hubby and i decided we will just bd every other day until af showed well we found our self bding away. so i took an answer early hpt 4 days before af was due and got a bfn. i cried my heart out but i was getting ready to start the next cycle. because i have had millions of bfn's before.

so a day or two before my cycle i noticed i was having headaches through out the day, sore boobs, cramping off and on, i even had a lil gas that was unusaul for me. but i noticed that i didnt get the lil pimple on my chin that i usually get around af. so i just brushed it off because i got a negative. so hubby and i contined! to bd just getting ready for af to show. so now i'm a day late and after bding hubby goes to the bathroom to "clean up" and he comes back and say youre bleeding at first i'm like *^%&*&! shes really going to show now. so i go to the bathroom i see nothing. so i asked him what did it look like he said it was brown and it wasnt that much.

at first i started thinking implantation then i said nah this is way to late for implantation but any ways i was talking to a good friend of mind on the puter when i told her all my symptoms she was like test test test so i ran off to the store and got another answer early hpt and what do you know a bfp!

boy i danced and danced i call it "the praise the lord dance" i think i lost about 3 pounds dancing too i went to the doctor on monday and he confirmed the bfp via blood test and gave me a guesstimate of july 22, 2003. i go for an ultrasound on the 25th or the 26th have to check but all i want to say to you ladies believe it will hap! pen, and it will but most important never give up.

thanks for listening and sorry so long

Dh and I had been ttc for 10mths with no success
and with me being determined to get pregnant before the 12mth mark,
    I decided to try Eggwhites!
Boy oh Boy, it was different but i followed all the advice on
how to inject and prepare the eggwhites,
and ladies I am happy to say
despite some of the bad things I heard about eggwhites
    me and dh are PREGNANT!
    we are delighted,
and we know its because of eggwhites that it happened
because on all the cycles I took clomid we did not concieve
however I didn't know the effects clomid could have on your cm
so the last cycle before my doctor wanted to do a HSG
we tried eggwhites and BOOM! my edd is 7/21/03!
    We are so happy!
Thanks Momma Kath for starting this website!!!!!!!

    We can't believe it!
I took a test on Christmas Eve,
which was 16DPO, and it was positive right away!
I couldn't believe it. We have been trying since April '02.
I took Clomid in June, but then stopped.
We took Clomid again in late October,
and November was my second round, and it worked!
For those of you ttc, this is what we did:
    in addition to the Clomid,
we used OPK's to pinpoint the day I was going to O,
and then we BD once the OPK was +.
Also, I took baby aspirin this month. DH took multi-vitamin,
an extra Vitamin C, Vitamin E with Selenium, and Zinc, to beef up his sperm.
I was really worried that it could all be his fault!
On our first round of Clomid in October,
my doctor had me go in for a follicle scan,
and I saw a nice big egg.
We BD on the right days and still did not get pg.
It was so disheartening, and I started blaming DH.
After all, it couldn't be me, when I saw proof of my nice big egg, right?
So DH was good, and took the vitamins, as suggested on this site.
I don't know, it could be the baby aspirin, too.
When I had Ryan, it was after my 3rd round of Clomid,
and I also took baby aspirin, as well as EPO
(see my story in Success Stories Book #24).
And we would BD every other day around estimated O time.
This time, we did not have the energy to BD every other day,
so I was reliant on the OPK.
It cost more, but I felt it would help
conserve DH's sperm until the right time
(I think he might have low sperm count).
Also, I didn't temp at all, as compared to the first time.
I just did not have the time with Ryan.
    My bbt thermometer died.
When I wanted to check to see if my temps were still high after 14DPO
(I kept thinking what if I never did O),
I had to use Ryan's baby thermometer (the one for the butt! LOL!)
    but I cleaned it!
    I still can't believe it!
I don't know why, after all, I took the right medicine,
and we bd on the right days...
i guess because we have been trying for so long,
that it seems like we would always have to keep trying.
    I don't have a single symptom.
I had no cramps, no breast tenderness.
I did have a craving for salad last week,
but that could be I was planning a dinner party menu,
and was trying to figure out what salad to make
(mesclun, with grilled portabello mushrooms, and shaved parmesan - YUM!).
I also did get nauseous after a car ride last week,
but I thought it was from the jolting in the car?
    I had a lot of watery/creamy discharge,
that I thought AF was coming -
because my uterine lining was breaking down
(yup, I am my own doctor! LOL!).
Today, I was worried that maybe it is all in my head,
and that it was a false positive that I went out and bought another test,
and just retook it. And yes, it is another BFP!
So, according to the pregnancy calendar,
I think my edd is 8/31/03.
Only my DH knows so far, so do all of you now.
We will probably wait until 12 weeks to tell family and friends,
if I can hide it for so long.
I just made an appointment to see my doc in mid January,
and I have been taking my old prenatal vitamins.
So, that's the scoop here with us.
Lots of ++++++++ dust for those of you ttc your next baby!!
    Love,
    MaxineR & Ryan (6/7/01)

This is my second clomid success story
(see TTC success stories book #21, 4th down, Lissa for my first)!!
This was cycle 2 of clomid days 3 - 7 this time.
    OPK was + cd 13, we bd'd on cd 10, 13, 14, and 15,
(DH's SA was good first time ttc, wasn't retested this time).
I tested with an early first response on cd28, 14dpo.
The line showed up so quick and was so clear,
there was no mistaken it was there.
I was surprised because I have no symptoms like my first pregnancy.
We joke that I had early nesting last week because I cleaned
and reorganized our basement storage, but that's it!
Oh, I haven't been sleeping well either,
not sure if that is a symptom or not,
I keep waking after only a couple hours of sleep
    and I feel wide-awake.
    Frustrating.

Just a bit of history for those interested:
I started clomid my 3rd cycle off of bcp.
Think we conceived and miscarried on our own my first cycle off bcp.
Had identical symptoms as first pg but only lasted 3 to 4 days then went away,
guessing from number of dpo something wasn't right and it didn't implant.
    So second cycle off bcp
I had my progesterone checked and it was 8.51 so on to clomid.
First cycle on clomid OPK wasn't + until cd 16 and cycle was 29 days
so I was surprised when opk was + on cd 13 this cycle.
    Well the rest is history.

I pray for everyone who is ttc.
My heart aches for all of us, I know it's not easy.
God has great plans for all of us!

Merry Christmas! And +++++ thoughts to you all.
    Lissa

Well after 6 months of trying we are finally pregnant!
The only thing we did different this month was stop trying so hard!
We went to go visit my dh's grandparents last month and grandma
    just said enjoy & relax!
I actually stopped tracking my cycle for the month and
we just bd as much as possible all month!
I have read all the success stories on your web site
and used lots of helpful hints from there.
I know everyone has probably heard it before....
but just have fun and try not to think about it!
It will happen sooner or later!!
I actually tested 3 days after my missed period
and got the positive hpt result!
    What a shock!
    We couldn't believe it.
I went to see my doctor the following day to confirm! :)
Blood test came back positive as well!
Talk about the best Christmas gift I have ever gotten!
I am now just over 5 weeks pregnant and feeling great so far!
Boobs are swollen and a little sore,
starting to feel a little more tired than usual
and a some queasiness in the morning right when I get up.
Thank you Momma Kath for having such a great resource
for us women to check out!
Good luck to everyone and try to relax!! :)
