    It's official!!!
    Here are my details!

We just found out this morning for sure! I took an HPT at 12DPO, and it was very faint. This morning, my blood test came back +++++, so it is official!

This cycle, I took EPO from AF to O, Vitex from AF to O, and baby asprin all cycle. I also drank a TON of water (5-6 bottles a day). WE DTD all 4 days that I had EWCM. I stayed laying down with my butt propped up for 30 minutes after each time. Also, we DTD immediately after work each day , around 5:30ish. Normally, I don't have that many days of EWCM, so the water and EPO really helped. At 5 DPO, I started noticing yellowish CM, which got thicker and more yellow each day. There wasn't a lot of it, but it was there. And it was only at my cervix, it didn't come out.

At 9DPO, I had some reddish brown spotting at my cervix, which continued through 12DPO. It got more brown each day too. Also, I started noticing triphasic temps, but only after they had been that way for several days.

The ONLY other symptoms I have had are funny feeling cramps in my stomach. They aren't like AF cramps at all. I have no blue veins on my bbs, no implantation dip, no metallic taste...etc...Most of the time, I feel completely normal, although I am starting to feel REALLY tired. I am falling asleep 2 hours earlier in the evenings.

I just want to thank you, Momma Kath, and ALL OF YOU LADIES for the environment you provide here! I had you to come to when I was freaking out, or feeling depressed, and I learned SO MUCH here. You are all wonderful people, and I will be praying that I will see you soon on the AB!!!

    Here is my first dusting:

    It was POSITIVE, ladies!! (m&LONG)
Yeah! I tested at 12 dpo with a Meijer hpt and it was very stongly positive, which surprised me that early. I tested the next day with a Rite Aid hpt and it was strong, too. Both my other pregnancies (#2 was stillborn in July), I tested the first day of my missed period and they were both really light - like I wondered if I was imagining things. What do you think of that? I PRAISE THE LORD FOR BLESSING ME WITH A PREGNANCY BEFORE MY DUE DATE OF HANNAH WHO WAS STILLBORN IN JULY IN MY 5TH MONTH OF PREGNANCY. It still doesn't seem real to me yet. Here are the details.... I drank a pot, yes, a pot of green tea a day. I like the tea and I like the esthetic effects of drinking tea from a beautiful tea pot and dainty tea cup. I drank LOTS of water, NO pop, NO coffee, some juice. I know lots of people don't like opk's, but I am afraid I would have missed O if I hadn't used one. O came earlier than I thought it did. We dtd 2 days before O, the day of O and the day after O because I still had ewcm. Temps took a dip 3 dpo (implantation or too early?) and then went triphasic, it seemed. I didn't get to temp 10, 11, and 12 dpo because I was helping deliver my cousin's baby. She was in labor 52 hours and we were up 3 nights in a row, but that's another story. I tested shortly after her baby was born at 12dpo. I knew I was pg before I tested.

I just knew. So did my husband somehow. We just knew. Anyway, "symptoms" include hot flashes, tiny bits of nausea, lots of yellowish white cm, slightly tender breasts, but that goes w/ AF, too. I have had to urinate A LOT the past 4 days - more than normal. Not much else I can think of, really. Oh yeah, tiny headaches, which are unusual for me. Usually if I get a headache, it's a humdinger - a migraine if I get one, so little baby ones (get the pun?) were unusual. :) Anyway, I am delighted, of course, but I am still so exhausted from my cousin's birth experience that I just feel numb. We were pregnant at the same time, due around the same time, but I lost my baby in July. It was somewhat hard to help deliver her baby knowing mine would have been here soon, but it was more healing than hard, which I didn't expect. So with no sleep and so much emotional stuff, I am exhausted and it will take me a couple of days to get back to normal. We are going to tell our families later this week over Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much, ladies, for your support, advice, and encouragement. It has been a blessing. Thanks for reading my novel! :)
Many + thoughts, love, and friendship to you all!
    God bless you!

Would you like a few details.....(m)
There's not a whole lot to tell really but here goes:
My temps were as follows (starting with day 12)..
    cd12 97.2
    cd13 97.8
    cd14 97.3
    cd15 97.6
    cd16 97.6
    cd17 97.6 (o day)
    cd18 1 dpo 97.8
    cd19 2 dpo 98.0
    cd20 3 dpo 98.1
    cd21 4 dpo 98.2
cd22 5 dpo no temp (oops LOL)
    cd23 6 dpo 98.5
cd24 7 dpo 98.1 (notice the nice dip - implantation?)
    cd25 8 dpo 98.3
    cd26 9 dpo 98.4 had sore bbs
    cd27 10 dpo 98.4
    cd28 11 dpo 98.3
    cd29 12 dpo 98.6
(highest temp ever in a cycle and they
usually start to drop here - did hpt and it was faintly positive in about 5 minutes...also felt slightly nauseaus in the morning.
    cd30 13 dpo 98.6 - slight cramping
cd31 14 dpo 98.4 - kind queasy - doctor confirmation. This cycle we weren't really even trying because of the upcoming iui cycle. Perhaps that's why we conceived - who knows.

The only other thing I did differently was I prayed to God and St. Theresa - this is a long story....I prayed to St. Theresa to help me have a healthy pregnancy and beautifully healthy baby. About 1 week later my Grandmother gave me a rose. About a week after this I was watching the news and they showed St. Theresa's casket - it was in Michigan and there were 1000's of people lining up to see her. Apparently, when she is going to grant your wish, she will find some way to send you a rose. Whether this is coicidental or not, I'm not sure, but I have a feeling it isn't just coicidence. You have to also know that I have never been a religious person, but felt that there was nothing else left for me but prayer - it couldn't hurt. So, that's it for me. I'm still taking things cautiously...but with God and St. Theresa on my side, I think the odds are better!

Thank you ladies so much for everything. I will be visiting you often (until I feel comfortable about the pregnancy). I love you all, and remember, if you feel discouraged....just know that if it can happen to me, it can happen for any one of you. This was cycle #34, #4 after my m/c. And it just happened naturally. So hang in there, and maybe try praying....seems to work!
Lots of love to you all,
    Lexi (4 wks + 4 days) YIPPEEE!

I just got the blood test results back and it was
    ++++++++++++!!!!!!!!

Well, it's official. I just got the blood test results back and I'm pregnant! I still can't believe it. Thanks everyone for all the support and answering my questions this past summer. The past few months I've tried to avoid obsessing which for me meant staying away from the board and not paying such close attention to every day details I can't wait to go home today and tell DH about it. I'm so tempted to call but this just isn't news that should be given over the phone. My hCG level today was 34. I go back Wed. for another hCG and a progesterone level.

    Here's the details:
I read TCOYF in the summer of '97 and went off bcp. I've been charting since then but we didn't start ttc till March '98. We started seeing the RE in May '99 and have done 3 cycles of Clomid 50 with IUI and one cycle of Gonal-F with IUI. I guess we have male-factor, DH's count and motility are OK but his morphology stinks! Well, after the Gonal-F didn't work we started talking about our options: a couple more Gonal-F/IUI cycles, IVF, adoption, or donor sperm. Our insurance wouldn't cover IVF and I still wanted to experience a pregnancy if I could. We decided to try donor sperm. We read the book "Helping the Stork, the choices and challenges of donor insemination". It was a great book and lead to lots of discussion for us. Anyway this month was a natural cycle for me with 2 DIUIs timed using an OPK, one the day of the surge and one the next day. I think this cycle was still influenced by my taking Gonal-F last cycle. I had 6 days of EWCM when I usually have barely a day of it. Also my temps were lower than usual pre-o and I felt a little nausea just before O just like with the Gonal-F cycle. The last few days I've been feeling more and more nausea and tired. My breasts are sore but then they usually are at the end of my lp. I usually have creamy CM after O up until about 2 days before AF then it gets clear then watery. The same thing started to happen this time. My CM got clear and showed signs of being watery but today (12dpo) it changed back to white/creamy.

I don't have my temps with me here at work but if anyone is interested I can post them when I get home. Let me know. Thanks again for all your help. It sure helps to have a place to go with questions!

    Monday, 15 November 1999, at 9:00 a.m.

    Hi Ladies-It's official! I'm pregnant. (m+really long!)

Well- after a miserable Friday when I got my second inconclusive urine test, they drew blood but I didn't get the results until Saturday and I don't have web access from home (sorry!). The Friday count was 340!! I had another check on Sunday and it was 665. They told me the numbers were great and can't understand why the urine tests came back inconclusive!! I have an appointment with my family physician this afternoon to get a referral to an OB. Thank you to all you wonderful ladies for your support-especially last week.

Here's all the gory details +++++ thoughts to all!! Mel

I'm 31(32 tomorrow) and DH is 37. I went off bcp in Jan.'98, but we used protection until June '98 (we were living in Japan at the time and I didn't want to be pregnant there).

We 'officially' started trying from June '98. AF didn't visit from October '98-April'99 (6 months)! This didn't worry me since I thought it was due to the stress of moving back to the states, looking for jobs etc. During this time though I started taking 1000mg Vit. C and 600 mg Calcium. I also took Black Cohosh for 3 months, to help 'regulate' my cycles.

I had a pap smear in Jan. '99 and everything looked fine. (They said no AF was due to stress) I started temping in Feb. '99 and AF showed up in April '99.

In May '99 I had an appointment with my family physician. She ordered blood work (which came back normal) for me and a sperm analysis for DH (also fine). After looking at my charts and telling her we wanted to get pregnant she recommended us to the local fertility clinic. We were told to expect a 6 month wait for the clinic, but there was a cancellation and we got an appointment in July.

In the meantime- I found this site in June and it has been a life saver! I have learned so much about myself and the female anatomy, it's incredible. I'm so glad to have a place where I can learn and share so much! At the first appointment, the RE ordered an u/s and HSG, which I had done in Aug. '99. He also ordered more blood work because he didn't have my first results and I forgot to bring them! The u/s (trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal) was to look for any abnormalities in shape/size. The HSG was to check if the tubes were open. Everything looked fine, so after going over those results, the next course of action was Clomid combined with IUI. I was started on 100mg Clomid on cd2-6. Why 100mg?-I'm not sure. I think it's because I'm plus size. Luckily I had no side effects from it. The IUI was scheduled for the day after my LH surge. This cycle, I checked for my LH surge in the afternoons (2pm), but by the next morning my temp. had risen! I went ahead with the IUI thinking that there was still a chance. 18 long days later AF showed up. Cycle #2 was the same, 100mg Clomid on cd2-6, but I checked for my LH surge in the morning. The surge came on cd14 and I was inseminated the same day. Sure enough the next day, my temp rose.
Only symptoms are sore nipples and the occasional 'acid' burp. Temps from O:
    cd14 97.5(O + IUI)
    cd15 98.1
    cd16 98.1
    cd17 98.2
    cd18 98.2
    cd19 98.3
    cd20 98.5
    cd21 98.7
    cd22 98.6
    cd23 98.7
    cd24 98.7
    cd35 99.0
    cd25 98.5 (cramping&dk.yellow cm implantation?)
    cd26 98.6
    cd27 98.6
    cd28 98.8 (faint + hpt)
cd29 99.0 (inconclusive test at clinic)
    cd30 98.8
    cd31 98.9
    cd32 98.8 (inconclusive test at clinic-blood drawn-hcg 340)
    cd33 99.0
    cd34 99.0 (blood drawn again-hcg 665)
