Posted by: Andrea, ++++ Confirmed!!
We just found out this morning for sure! I took an HPT at 12DPO, and it was very faint. This morning, my blood test came back +++++, so it is official! This cycle, I took EPO from AF to O, Vitex from AF to O, and baby asprin all cycle. I also drank a TON of water (5-6 bottles a day). WE DTD all 4 days that I had EWCM. I stayed laying down with my butt propped up for 30 minutes after each time. Also, we DTD immediately after work each day , around 5:30ish. Normally, I don't have that many days of EWCM, so the water and EPO really helped. At 5 DPO, I started noticing yellowish CM, which got thicker and more yellow each day. There wasn't a lot of it, but it was there. And it was only at my cervix, it didn't come out. At 9DPO, I had some reddish brown spotting at my cervix, which continued through 12DPO. It got more brown each day too. Also, I started noticing triphasic temps, but only after they had been that way for several days. The ONLY other symptoms I have had are funny feeling cramps in my stomach. They aren't like AF cramps at all. I have no blue veins on my bbs, no implantation dip, no metallic taste...etc...Most of the time, I feel completely normal, although I am starting to feel REALLY tired. I am falling asleep 2 hours earlier in the evenings. I just want to thank you, Momma Kath, and ALL OF YOU LADIES for the environment you provide here! I had you to come to when I was freaking out, or feeling depressed, and I learned SO MUCH here. You are all wonderful people, and I will be praying that I will see you soon on the AB!!! Here is my first dusting:
Much Love,

It was POSITIVE, ladies!! (m&LONG)
I just knew. So did my husband somehow. We just knew. Anyway, "symptoms" include hot flashes, tiny bits of nausea, lots of yellowish white cm, slightly tender breasts, but that goes w/ AF, too. I have had to urinate A LOT the past 4 days - more than normal. Not much else I can think of, really. Oh yeah, tiny headaches, which are unusual for me. Usually if I get a headache, it's a humdinger - a migraine if I get one, so little baby ones (get the pun?) were unusual. :) Anyway, I am delighted, of course, but I am still so exhausted from my cousin's birth experience that I just feel numb. We were pregnant at the same time, due around the same time, but I lost my baby in July. It was somewhat hard to help deliver her baby knowing mine would have been here soon, but it was more healing than hard, which I didn't expect. So with no sleep and so much emotional stuff, I am exhausted and it will take me a couple of days to get back to normal. We are going to tell our families later this week over Thanksgiving. Thank you so much, ladies, for your support, advice, and
encouragement. It has been a blessing. Thanks for
reading my novel! :)

The only other thing I did differently was I prayed to God and St. Theresa - this is a long story....I prayed to St. Theresa to help me have a healthy pregnancy and beautifully healthy baby. About 1 week later my Grandmother gave me a rose. About a week after this I was watching the news and they showed St. Theresa's casket - it was in Michigan and there were 1000's of people lining up to see her. Apparently, when she is going to grant your wish, she will find some way to send you a rose. Whether this is coicidental or not, I'm not sure, but I have a feeling it isn't just coicidence. You have to also know that I have never been a religious person, but felt that there was nothing else left for me but prayer - it couldn't hurt. So, that's it for me. I'm still taking things cautiously...but with God and St. Theresa on my side, I think the odds are better! Thank you ladies so much for everything. I will be visiting
you often (until I feel comfortable about the pregnancy). I
love you all, and remember, if you feel discouraged....just
know that if it can happen to me, it can happen for any
one of you. This was cycle #34, #4 after my m/c. And it just
happened naturally. So hang in there, and maybe try
praying....seems to work!

Well, it's official. I just got the blood test results back and I'm pregnant! I still can't believe it. Thanks everyone for all the support and answering my questions this past summer. The past few months I've tried to avoid obsessing which for me meant staying away from the board and not paying such close attention to every day details I can't wait to go home today and tell DH about it. I'm so tempted to call but this just isn't news that should be given over the phone. My hCG level today was 34. I go back Wed. for another hCG and a progesterone level.
Here's the details:
I don't have my temps with me here at work but if anyone is
interested I can post them when I get home. Let me
know. Thanks again for all your help. It sure helps to have
a place to go with
questions!

Hi Ladies-It's official! I'm pregnant. (m+really long!) Well- after a miserable Friday when I got my second inconclusive urine test, they drew blood but I didn't get the results until Saturday and I don't have web access from home (sorry!). The Friday count was 340!! I had another check on Sunday and it was 665. They told me the numbers were great and can't understand why the urine tests came back inconclusive!! I have an appointment with my family physician this afternoon to get a referral to an OB. Thank you to all you wonderful ladies for your support-especially last week. Here's all the gory details +++++ thoughts to all!! Mel I'm 31(32 tomorrow) and DH is 37. I went off bcp in Jan.'98, but we used protection until June '98 (we were living in Japan at the time and I didn't want to be pregnant there). We 'officially' started trying from June '98. AF didn't visit from October '98-April'99 (6 months)! This didn't worry me since I thought it was due to the stress of moving back to the states, looking for jobs etc. During this time though I started taking 1000mg Vit. C and 600 mg Calcium. I also took Black Cohosh for 3 months, to help 'regulate' my cycles. I had a pap smear in Jan. '99 and everything looked fine. (They said no AF was due to stress) I started temping in Feb. '99 and AF showed up in April '99. In May '99 I had an appointment with my family physician. She ordered blood work (which came back normal) for me and a sperm analysis for DH (also fine). After looking at my charts and telling her we wanted to get pregnant she recommended us to the local fertility clinic. We were told to expect a 6 month wait for the clinic, but there was a cancellation and we got an appointment in July. In the meantime- I found this site in June and it has been a
life saver! I have learned so much about myself and
the female anatomy, it's incredible. I'm so glad to have a
place where I can learn and share so much!
At the first appointment, the RE ordered an u/s and HSG,
which I had done in Aug. '99. He also ordered more
blood work because he didn't have my first results and I
forgot to bring them! The u/s (trans-abdominal and
trans-vaginal) was to look for any abnormalities in
shape/size. The HSG was to check if the tubes were open.
Everything looked fine, so after going over those results,
the next course of action was Clomid combined with IUI. I
was started on 100mg Clomid on cd2-6. Why 100mg?-I'm not
sure. I think it's because I'm plus size. Luckily I had
no side effects from it. The IUI was scheduled for the day
after my LH surge. This cycle, I checked for my LH surge
in the afternoons (2pm), but by the next morning my temp.
had risen! I went ahead with the IUI thinking that there
was still a chance. 18 long days later AF showed up.
Cycle #2 was the same, 100mg Clomid on cd2-6, but I checked
for my LH surge in the morning. The surge came
on cd14 and I was inseminated the same day. Sure enough the
next day, my temp rose.
