Hi there!
Thank you Momma Kath!
Well, it's official!
I found out today (via blood test)
that I am pregnant! Of course I knew from the
4 hpt's I had taken already,
but I needed the medical confirmation to get
prenatal care. Praise the Lord Jesus for
His wonderful blessing to us!
Let me share my story with you.
My husband and I got married 7 months ago
(I'm 24, he's 31). At first
(foolishly) we thought we should wait to
try to have children. That way I could teach just one
more year, and we could pay off bills , etc., etc.
However, the Lord truly convicted us that we should
try to have children, and to be faithful to that
command to "be fruitful and multiply." So, 3 months
ago, we started trying. The first two month,
I was so dissappointed when my period came. I thought
that I would get pregnant on the first try for sure!
But, now I realize that the Lord wanted me to wait upon
Him and trust in His timing. I salute all of you ladies
who are trying to conceive. If that is the desire
of your heart, He has put it there for a special reason.
Trust in the Lord Jesus for your salvation, and
for all the other godly desires you have.
Well, I started BBTing this month,
and was a bit disheartened when my temps didn't go up at
day 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16. I totally thought I would
have ovulated by then. Just when I was thinking this
cycle was a bust, my temps did start to rise (very slowly)
from 97. 7 all the way to 98.6. It actually took it 6 days
to rise. On cd18, I woke up with extreme breast pain.
I thought, this is too early to be PMS! On cd 20,
I was a bottomless pit of hunger, and my breasts still hurt.
On CD 23, I started having nausea at odd times of the day.
On cd 26, I tested with an ept and saw a very faint line.
On cd28, I tested with another ept and an Answer and saw a
more defined line. That day I went down to the hospital to
have a urine test, but it came back negative! I was shocked!
Maybe I drank too much water beforehand? Well, today, on cd31,
I went in for a qualitative hcg blood test, and YAY it was positive.
So, don't give up, put your trust in the Lord, seek first His kingdom
and all other things shall be added unto you. Amen. :-)

Hello Again!
I typed up my other email so fast,
I realized I left out some important info that
might help you other ladies. So here goes...
these are the things I did to try to conceive
(besides pray and trust in God for His mercy :-)
1. I took my BBT every morning at the same time.
2. I took Robitussin to thin out my CM.
It really worked. By the way,
my CM remained creamy well after O,
so that was another sign.
3. I drank tea!
4. I took Dong Quai (only until I O'ed).
5. I started taking vitamin E, Folic Acid,
and B-complex daily in sizeable
but practical amounts.
6. After BDing, I put a pillow under
my stomach (laid on my stomach because I have
a tilted uterus) for at least 40 minutes.
Well, my PG symptoms included strange
cramping (particularily on my left side),
nausea, hunger pangs at odd times, fatigue,
gas, burping, and mega breast pain!
Thanks for all the info on this website,
and for the other success stories!
May all those who are
"with child" be protected by Him and
be given a safe and healthy delivery.
And... may all those who
wish to be "with child" be given the
desires of their heart very soon!
