Here's how I told dh......
Dh was out of town Wednesday night and flew into Cleveland
yesterday at 5 (he told me 4:00 the day before).
He was supposed to come home, then we were leaving to
meet his family for dinner for his birthday.
I had a cake with 33 candles ready so he could "make a wish"
before we went to dinner. I had the nurse at RE's office
write on a piece of their letterhead,
"Happy Birthday Karl. Your wife is pregnant".
I wrapped it up in a box and wanted him to open it
before we went to dinner. WELL, he was running late,
called and insisted that I just meet him at the restaurant.
So after we finish dinner, he invites his family over
to the house!!!! I could've killed him.
SO, I had him make a wish and blow out the candles
while his family was here. After they left,
I finally gave him the box. He says, "Don't you think
I should wait until tomorrow?" (his birthday is really today).
I coerced him to open it by insinuating that it was some
sort of sex toy that I couldn't wait to try.
He opens the box, pulls out the envelope, and says,
"You got me a gift certificate?" He didn't even look
at the return address. When he FINALLY read it,
he stood there and sobbed. He was truly surprised.
I had told him that my blood test wasn't until today!
What a glorious day.

I can't believe it was a ++++++!!

I am writing to thank all of you for all of the great
information you have posted to this web site! I have been
more of a reader than a poster for the past 2months and
have learned so much! This morning DH and I
thank you from the bottom of our hearts as I
took a hpt today at 16 dpo and it was +++++!! We have been
ttc for almost a year now. This month was my first month
on Clomid (so it does work!!) and my first month
taking Robi-which helped CM a lot, I drank green tea,
DH started taking vitamins, and I stopped using any
lubricant on the nights when my dancing shoes were
just not on!! Going to the OB tomorrow to confirm with
a blood test. Thank you all so much!! Shoveling out the dust.. . ..

I am on cloud 10!!!! Forget about cloud 9
Hi Ladies!! How is everyone doing? I hope everyone is good.
I have not posted here in almost a month, we
moved into a new Apt. on April 1st, so I have
been busy with that. And I had to deal with some things
concerning my dd. Anyways, I just came on to let you all
know my little success story. I have been coming
to this site since June. And I am glad I found it!!
Me and my dh had been ttc for a year now. Last year the
day before Easter I had a m/c, and so now this year the
day before Easter I found out I was PG!!!! How
Blessed is that?!!!! I specifically waited for that day to test ;o)
I was 15dpo. And I am due HOPEFULLY
around Christmas time. I am so Happy!!!!!!!
I can't believe it still. I had to go to the Dr.
on Tuesday to take a urine pg test,
just so my Boss would know for sure I was pg,
as I work in a Print Shop, and sure enough I
am, but my first Appt. isn't until the 16th of May.
I will continue to PRAY and hope this pregancy will keep
:o) I noticed "things" were different at about 7dpo,
when I woke up in the morning and my breasts felt
unusually heavy and very sore. I tried not to get my
hopes up though, as I have done that many times only
to be dissapointed, but normally I get pms symptoms
starting at 3dpo, so that kind of gave me a clue. I also
thought it might have been the Vitex though, making my pms
symptoms start later, as I started taking that
at cy 11 along with EPO, tried Robitussin too, but YUCK!!!
LOL!!! couldn't handle that!!! THANKS to you Wonderful Ladies here
for all the suggestions and advice :o) I also have been taking prenatal
vitamins and a baby aspirin once a day, every day for a year.
This month I also noticed I had EWCM for 5 days when
normally I would have that for 3 or 4 and not alot of
it either, this cycle I had an abundance of it!!! So we took
advantage of it!!!! ;o) And now look at me!!! Yea!!!! I also
started taking my temps on cy 11, but I was not
sleeping very well, so I do not know how accurate
they were, but I can tell you that this cycle I never got a
temp higher then 98.8 so it just goes to prove that you don't
really need very high temps to be pg!!!
They were mostly around 98.5 98.6,& 98.7.
They were like that last cycle too,
the cycle I did not get pg, with the
exception of the 98.8. that I had this cycle.
So that is my little story.
If you Ladies want to know anything I forgot to write,
I'd be more than happy to share, so let me know ok? .

...PREGNANT!!!!!!...
I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE IT BUT I`M PREGNANT!! ( Really long + details )
Hi everyone and a special hi
to all who wished me luck for today- I
tested positive!!( Confirmed by doc this
morning)- and I really have to get used
to this idea- as I don`t really
feel pregnant yet!
This cycle was really strange,
I temped for the first time and was
hoping for a triphasic pattern, it started off
nicely going way up to 98.8 and
then on 5dpo it plummited down to
coverline hovering around for a few days
just above Coverline and slowly but
surely it started to rise again and
then I thought OH,Yeah I`m one of
these strange women who get a temp rise before AF
With the temp plummit boobs stopped
being sore but I had some red
threads of blood in CM next day brown threads
( uptil now cuz today there were no
threads for the first time )
Well I really thought this month
was a total bust, the specks of blood
I put down to low Progesteron,
because there was no immediate temp rise
the following days,my docter
was going to describe Progesterone
for me if I wasn`t PG within a few months!!
The only thing I noticed that
was different this month was
I got very emotional after O,
but it has gone now for a few days.
Another few things:
Had a burning sensation on my CP at 2po
I think at around 3 or 4dpo
( maybe a day or two later, can`t remeber..)
I started to sweat more and at 3dpo,
BM was hard instead of soft
( sorry so graphic-
but this was actually the biggest clue because
this is never the case and certainly
not for a long period of time
as I eat healthy and am quite sporty!
I read that the PG body
constipates so vitamins can be drawn out more easily,
only strange this early??)
The night from 3dpo to 4dpo
I woke up cuz my boobs were
hurting really bad, especially the nipples,4dpo
feeling very tired but at 5 dpo
boobs were back to normal!
5dpo I was very tired and felt down
and temp plummit to nearly above
Coverline and one red blood thread in CM
6dpo temp going down even further to Coverline,
felt nauseous at night (the only time uptil now!)

AS I thought it was a bust I did not
pay much attention anymore to my
body but CP was high and sort of
soft but firm, there was nearly no CM,
it didn`t look bright white as
usual but not yellow either.Everyday
there was a spek of brown blood at CP
12dpo AF was due, usually have sore boobs
1 and a half weeks before (!!)
this time nothing! AT 11 dpo AF
came or so I thought, I had the bright
red blood flow, but usually I
start to have mushy brown spotting for a
day or two beforehand- not this time-bang
and AF was there- felt really
depressed but glad at the same
time, AF is the only time you really are
certain of what is going on!!
Or so I thought... put in a tampon in the
afternoon and took it out before I went
to sleep, and there wasn`t a lot
of blood at all in fact only the tip of
the tampon was drenched! I checked CM
and it was back to the brown
thread in CM- STRANGE...By this
time temp was still rising on this day
it was 98,6 so DH said well then
you must be Pregnant! I laughed it
off but then my boobs were sore again..
Next day 12dpo AF was due but she
did not show ,temp steady, 13dpo temp rise
98,7 still only brown specks in CM,
CP definately felt firm and closed,in
the morning CP was high and in the
evening low and felt pretty large.
I was still waiting for AF and
decided chances were getting pretty good
now( Lifecycle was predicting possible
Pregnancy aswell starting from
12dpo) 14dpo another temp rise to
98.8 but since 13dpo boobs
were nearly back to normal
( well maybe the nipples were starting
to darken but it is hard to tell when you are
looking at them every 5 minutes and DH
can`t tell the difference either..
talking about obsessing!)
So it really was getting time to test,
I thought 15dpo would be best,
more reliable and there it is!
I did a bunch of things differently this month:
Started EPO and Femplex Multivitamins on cd 10
Aspirin and B6 on CD 11
cd 12 stopped EPO cause I thought I Oed
CD 13 we BDed for the first time
at around 6:30 instead of
at night or morning, I put on a tight dress feeling
very sexy and we really enjoyed oureslves
(instead of having TTC in the back of our minds )!!
And of course I found this wonderful site which loaded
a lot of ( lonely ) stress off my shoulders I am
convinced it was a big contribution

This cycle I also wore my grandmothers ring(she is dead )
to bring me luck- Thanks Grandma!!

I am still in shock!
After trying for 6 years to conceive, and just
recently becoming a member of this site,
I got a positive. I really didn't
think this month would be the one
because I have had a lot of stress this
month and we weren't really trying
as hard as we usually do. We only BD'd
one time! On day 13. My temps were really,
really crazy. No rhyme or reason to them.
One day they would be down in the 97's and some
days in the 98's, both before and after I O'd.
But on days 25-30 they hovered between
98.1 and 98.6, and then on day 31
they shot up to 98.8, so I started thinking
something was going on.
I tested and it was Positive!
A blood test confirmed it.

I had a laparoscopy in January that
cleared up some adhesions, but my
Dr. said that the scar tissue in my
tubes was so bad that I would have to have
IVF to conceive. The only things I did different
this month was that I didn't obsess about it
so much, and I took my baby aspirin,
but not on a regular basis.
My symptoms were sore nipples
almost immediately after I O'd, but that went away.
And my breasts were sore, but they always are.
I didn't get as emotional this month as I
usually do with PMS. Today is day 33, and
except for sore breasts, I really have no symptoms at all.
Because I have a history of scar tissue,
my chances of an ectopic pregnancy are higher than most,
but my sonogram today showed what the nurse thought was
the implantation site, right in the uterus where it belongs!
She couldn't be 100% sure b/c it is so early,
but so far everything looks great.
If this can happen to me, please believe
that it can happen to you too!
