Teresa's Memorial
brought the entire family
together to say GOOD BYE!
Teresa,
I know you are smiling now,
free as a butterfly!
Love, Kath

My dear sister lived such a troubled existence.
Such a gifted woman but she was constantly tormented
by demons inside that rarely gave her a moments peace.
One of the last poems she wrote was after
my friend French attempted to heal her....

FINALLY FREE
by Teresa Gilmore

When you laid your hands upon me
the walls came tumbling down
I felt a strange releasing
and a smile replaced the frown
As you tenderly read my palm
I saw promise held in me
My life was well explained
I soon felt I was finally free
But your laying on of hands
was magic truly to behold
It broke up all the hardness
for I was very very cold
And now I am new and free
within me hope has been reborn
you took a tortured being
and released me from the thorns.

Kathy,
When everything confuses me
I think of you and how you see
the best of everything around
as if to say
"there are no bounds"
And how you knew around each door
a new adventure you'd explore.
You're fascinating in that you,
can find such joy in all you do.
I think
I can say
I remember
you well
luv,
Teresa

Written to Teresa
by her first husband
James Rogers

Well times
come, child
and times go
just like
Rolling Rivers
and a friendly beaux

So you gotta
stay strong
between - The first and last
But - I know you girl
and you'll never start
living in the past

And so remember?
'Smile A Truth'
Cause if you
Can't smile
Then it ain't no use

Good thoughts for the todays ahead
and all the tomorrow afterward.

Kathy My Gentle Coach

How many times

Have I put pen to paper
To express myself
To you, my special friend?

You have been

My gentle coach
through the decade
Of my struggle to write

And now, so simply put

I thank you
For a gift this is mine
And yet, it gives to all

I enjoy this expression

Of the heart
It fulfills my need
To touch others

Like a rose in bloom

Is the beauty
Of your gracious soul
That same soul that comforts mine.

Teresa wrote for this
wonderful poem for me at Christmas

A rare spiritual woman
With a tender touch of grace
And a heart that beats ever strong
For the entire human race.

Living from moment to moment
She reflects a love of life
Making every moment count
She truly has arrived

At a place of natural wonder
Where fantasy is real
And illusion has it's place
In her wonderful appeal.

Time, it has no essence
In her neutral cosmic sphere
Awakening infinity
In an eternal stratosphere

To me, her aura is soothing blue
And deep as the waters that surround
The imagery is tranquil
Her energy profound

Relentlessly she searches
Through the endless maze,
Her heart and soul ignited
Her being ablaze.

A conscousness alive
Is it's own reward
And a spirit in touch with infinity
Will live forevermore.
