Im not sure if doing IVF one more time is a good decision-time will tell. Today Im feeling a sense of regret jumping into this again. I had my baseline u/s this morning-20 antral follicles which is good. But we always do go with the egg stimulation part. Praying the sperm is healthier this time. I stopped BC and start lupron on Sat and stimms on Sunday. There is always a chance it will work-but the majority of our fertility treatments fail. So anyone that can put some extra prayers out there for us-they're MOST WELCOMED. One thing different we will do this time-is make sure DH has ejaculate for 7 days in a row leading up to HCG trigger shot. Then obstain until retrieval. There is a recent study that showed a big improvement by keeping sperm very fresh for couples that have sperm dna fragmentation issues. We weren't formally tested/diagnosed with that-but we are 100% that is the real issue based on our history. So hoping that extra effort will make the big difference. I guess sperm gets damaged in some men while it sits in the seminal fluid in the testes. We've both been on antioxidant supplements the last 6 month so hoping that will also help. I have so many other things to focus on-like MOVING across country May 18 so-I don't have a lot of time to obsess this cycle. Maybe that's a good thing. It will still hurt like hell if it doesn't work. Im sad about packing up Coburns nursery-at night I sit in there and cry. Too many hurt feelings from infertility and it's really hard to say goodbye to the infant phase. We are renting a house out in CA-and its plain white walls and blah carpet. My nursery is dark blue with stripped carpet I picked out and everything is just perfect. OH well-maybe I'll get the chance to decorate another nursery for a new baby.
