the whole being against contraception thing. Like TM said - are we really just supposed to have sex w/ our husbands only when trying to get pregnant? And that's it? Really??? I could be wrong, but I don't recall there being anything in the Bible about that. Yes, Christians do believe in "leaving things up to God", but God also wants US to use wisdom and do our part too. Does he not take medicine when he's sick? Or does he just leave getting better up to God?
I, personally, would rather have people using contraception than having abortions. And that's fine if it's HIS personal choice not to use it, but you can't make personal choices for others.
That being said, I still don't think it's right for the gov't to force private employers to cover something they are against. You can always check out what benefits your employer provides and doesn't before you go to work there. Birth control often isn't covered by a lot of non-religious places anyhow, simply because they don't see it as a medical necessity. So I don't see the big deal. I really am opposed to a big, far-reaching government.
But yea, ol Sanitorium is pretty crazy, if you ask me. There's no way he'd beat Obama, though, IF he got the vote - so I wouldn't worry too much.
NEW:
So I guess Santorum thinks that unless you're trying to get pg, you shouldn't be having sex? m (views: 55)
