    Debate Two

So I guess Santorum thinks that unless you're trying to get pg, you shouldn't be having sex? m

I personally believe that sex is a HUGE part of a marriage. I recently posted about being in a "funk" with DH where we were hardly ever having it, but then we had a night with both girls out for sleepovers a couple of weekends ago and we got our groove back! LOL If I had to constantly worry about getting pg, I would never, ever have it!

Anyway, I do have one orthodox Catholic friend that is a huge Santorum supporter as she is against birth control in every shape and form. Sex is for procreation only. I just think that is so wrong--to even suggest legislature to allow states to be able to ban birth control? Yeah--that's going to solve a lot of problems. That's telling people that unless they are trying to have babies, they should not be having sex. If you're married and don't have money or means to have children, no sex for you. If having babies is flat-out unhealthy or dangerous for your body, oops--too bad. No sex for you. (it sounds like the Soup Nazi--NO SEX FOR YOU!)

I REALLY think this is overstepping. This is bringing religion/morals into government, and I have such a huge problem with that. Who is he to say when sex is and isn't o.k.? Does he not realize how many unwanted/unhealthy babies would be brought into the world without b/c? Seriously. People like this just sound crazy to me.
