My sis, niece, and I went on our big shopping trip this weekend. We went to a really big mall outside of Chicago and to an outlet mall near Rockford, IL. I laughed so hard that tears ran down my face a couple of times. I can't even remember how many people told us that we looked like we were having fun. I took $1500 with me and came back with $500, tons of new clothes, and tired feet. Some of the biggest highlights were making a salesperson strip a mannequin because I NEEDED the jeans off of it, (Hey, they were on clearance for $13 and my size), trying on and fitting into a size 6 for the first time in 8 or 9 years, asking every person in the Buckle if "these jeans make my butt look big", and trying to get the smallest purchase amount with a $5 coupon in the outlet malls (official record was $.19 by my sister for 3 pairs of socks). Not to mention the beautiful brown leather jacket that I got for $67 on clearance at Wilson's. We almost filled the back of my van with our bags. I was so sad to see my sis and niece drive off yesterday late afternoon. Wish we could do this every weekend. LOL.
