That pregnancy ended in miscarriage. A month later we were pregnant again, but unfortunately our baby boy was born to Heaven at 30 weeks with the chromosome disorder of Trisomy 18. We started TTC again and after month four I was feeling anxious and like it was never going to happen. I was desperate and found this website. I e-mailed my sister in law who is very knowledgeable about herbs and holistic medicine to find out her opinion of your #1 Herbs for Her. She informed me she took all the same herbs for all four of her pregnancies! I was surprised as I did not know that. So I thought I'd give it a try.... I am thrilled to say I started the herbs on CD 5 and we found out we were pregnant on CD 26!!! I am a believer and will start the herbs again when we TTC again. Thank you for your personal e-mails! We had been ttc for 3 years and I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility and my husband was diagnosed with low morphology (good sperm but they just didn’t really know what the heck to do!). So after 5 months of clomid and an unsuccessful IUI we decided to try IVF. The first round of meds for IVF did not do much so I had to stop those meds and try another set of meds (and of course NONE of the expenses of IVF including meds are covered by our insurance). The second set of meds worked and I had 4 okay embroyos for them to transfer back into me. I am very fortunate that one of the embroyos took and I now have a healthy 8 month old son. My husband and I wanted to have more kids but could not again go thru the IVF emotional roller coaster-not to mention the cost!!! So I was doing research online and started checking out herbs. I am frequent lurker on TTC board and saw that momma Kath offered Herbs. I decided to write her an email and give her our background of infertility and see what she recommended. For me it was No. 3 Herbs for Her and then I added Maca and the Progest pills. For my husband she recommended Libilov pills. We were on the herbs for 3 weeks (one cycle) and I was wondering where AF was? I decided to test with the complimentary pregnancy tests Momma Kath sent. I almost DIED when I saw 2 lines show- I then emailed Momma Kath to see what she thought and she said a LINE IS A LINE!!! I then called Ob GYN and decided to go in for a blood test to make sure. Well I am happy to say that I am 5 week and 3 days pregnant!!! I have to thank Momma Kath for her website and I truly believe that the herbs made a difference!!! Thank you! Thank you, Ronnell +++++++++++++++++++++ 5/24/05 Dear Momma Kath, I have a wonderful story to tell you. God performed a miracle! Just today I got my BFP! I still can hardly believe it! After I weaned my son over a year ago, my AF never came back. I charted my temps for 7 months- no ovulation... My GYN suggested blood tests, progesterone for 10 days and later Clomid. Unfortunately, I had a hypersensitivity to Clomid and suffered raptures of a few cysts. The ultrasound showed that I didn't have PCOS. Even though after progesterone I had AF and after taking 50 mg Clomid I did ovulate- no pregnancy. I got really discouraged with all the medical treatment (and lots of pain). After praying to the Lord, I got impressed to buy herbs from you Momma Kath. On 2/15 I started Regime # 7 and about a month later I ovulated on my own (without drugs!) Praise God! After 2 months of Regime #7, I started #1 Herbs for Her . I also read the book that you recommend on your site- "Taking charge of your fertility", I would strongly recommend it to every lady who is TTC!!! It helped me to understand how my body works and with my irregular periods this book taught me how to "listen" to the signs of "coming" ovulation. A lot of prayers were sent to the Lord on our days of TTC! And my loving Jesus has heard our prayers and answered! Today is 15th DPO and I am so happy to let you know that we are expecting!!! Dear Mommakath, I just want to send a little note of thanks for providing such an informative website. I ordered the Herbs for Her #2 regime in November. I was on my 5th round of clomid and I just had a gut feeling that things weren't going well with the clomid. I ceased the clomid in December and continued taking the herbs for her with Vitex. I felt the herbs were working because it shorten my cycle (which has been about 34 to 36 days) to 32 days. I ovulated (finally) on CD 11-12 and yesterday I took an hpt and the results were postive. If all goes well , this will be our third child. I am 39 years old, and we have been TTC for about 8 months. Thanks again and may you have much success with other mothers who are on the TTC journey.
