Anyone in the Merritt Island, FL area???
Hi and welcome!
It's so nice to know someone is moving to the area that understands!
I'm working with Dr. Diran Chamoun he's a Re in Melbourne
and the only certified specialist in our area, 321-724-4410.
I'm going for IVF with ICSI next month and will start meds next week.
This is our first attempt! We have a male-factor problem.
I don't personally know another soul who's going through
this so I've felt a little isolated at times!
Best of luck to you.
I really like Chamoun and his staff.

We saw Dr. Gatewood for my vasectomy reversal after having it 8 years prior.
He was honest about my possibilities and when we insisted he try, he gave us
every service and opportunity above and beyond the typical doctor, including
follow-up. My motility was that of a man 15 years younger. This man and his
staff were wonderful!
Thanks,

My husband & I tried to conceive for 6 years.
We never used birth control.
We tried taking temps, using herbs, ovulation predictor kits, ovulation machines,
timing using mucus & temps.
After 2 years we saw a Dr. I had laparoscopy surgery for minor endometriosis.
I had a tubal lavage 3 times.
We did clomid for 8 months.
We did artificial insemination with Repronex for 4 months and nothing worked.
We finally went to see a priest at our church for a counseling session to discuss in-vitro.
It was very comforting and we decided to go ahead with it.
We chose Huntington Reproductive Center in California.
(We used the Laguna Hills office). Our doctor was Dr. Potter, who is wonderful.
His wife gave birth to their children using in-vitro.
Anyway, we conceived after the second try!
We are blessed with a baby girl, Sarah, due to arrive June 11, 2003!

Im a med/surg nurse used to taking care of patients
before/after surgury..then it was my turn for a hysterectomy.
Yikes I was scared! I chose Dr Warren Volker.
My surgury ended up being more extensive than planned
but I came through with flying colors thanks to his skills..
I also had an excellent recovery.
I felt very safe with him and highly recommend him.

I would like to add my doctor to your doctor list
He is a male infertility specialist in Minnesota.
We were looking to find a doctor who specialized in
vasectomy reversals and found Doctor Douglas Schow's website.
His practice, The Minnesota Men's Health Center in Woodbury, MN,
specializes in treating men with infertility problems.
His website contains many articles on male infertility
including information on vasectomy reversals.
He actually gives money back to patients if the reversal does not work.
When we met with Doctor Schow he spent about 45 minutes with us
and answered all of our questions, free of charge.
His staff is friendly and professional.
We cannot thank Doctor Schow enough for his steady hand.
We now have a baby daughter even though I had a vasectomy 26 years ago.

I'd like to mention a Japanese doctor.
His name is Dr.Akira Ikegawa.
He is the Director of Ikegawa Clinic in Yokohama Tokyo.
He has written a few books about children with pre-birth memory.
He is trying to encourage mothers to be to understand that
parenting starts not when the baby is born
but when she gets pregnant.
Best regards,
S.M.S.

I love my midwife, Pat Deibel, CNM!
Rochester NY
She spends hours, not minutes with me, and honored my every wish and concern.
She made it possible for me to have a wonderful, natural, non-interventive birth that helped to heal the wounds from my previous interventive birth experience!
We are so lucky to have her here in this community!
