To interact in "Real Time" via these Chat Rooms
you must have Java installed or enabled on your computer.
It is free.
The browser is the program which
allows you surf or navigate on the WorldWideWeb
Your browser probably allows you
to choose Java enable in the preferences area
Netscape - Edit - Preferences
Explorer - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - Java enabled

Note: that after enabling Java you will have to restart your computer.
Go to the chat room and then wait 10 seconds or so
before it will connect and open for you
type your name in the message box
hit enter
and that name will appear on the side.
Sometimes the Chat Room will boot you out
or shut down....
In that case, you may want to attempt to
reconnect or go to the Main Discussion Board
for a few minutes.

The same rules apply here as on the Discussion Boards.
If someone in the Chat room is hostile or obscene
simply leave (go to the DB's)
that person will get bored and look for trouble elsewhere.
